1. Reference photo & contact

I work exclusively from photo references. I require good, high quality photos to work from. As a first step, send me one or several photos of the subject which can be used as a reference.

Not sure which photo suits best? I am more than happy to help. Just send me an email or contact me here.

Reference photos should be of high resolution – I can only draw what I see and creating a detailed portrait from a blurry reference photo is nearly impossible.

2. Confirming your order

As soon as we have fixed what size, medium and subject your portrait will be, I will send you an confirmation of your order along with my general standard terms and conditions and the bill.

 

3. Payment and drawing process

I require a 25% deposit to secure your place on my commission list. I will only start working on your portrait after I have received the payment for the deposit. If you would like me to keep you updated on the process of how your drawing comes along, I will be happy to send you pictures. In case you are not happy with the finished portrait, there is no obligation to take delivery. However, I will keep the deposit and reserve the right to sell the drawing elsewhere.

 

4. Shipping

As soon as I have received the payment for the residual amount, I will ship the portrait to you. Shipping costs vary depending on the country you live in.
