About

Portrait artist Linda Egger

Ever since I was a child, I felt most comfortable with a sheet of paper and some pencils in front of me, so I could bury myself in my drawings.

I grew up in a small town in southern germany called Tettnang, near beautiful lake constance. Early in my life, I started to try out different artistic styles and tecniques. My love for animals and nature was reflected in my drawings.

I am completely self-taught. Today, my focus in on photorealistic human-, animal- and botanical portraits.

In my art, I benefit from my patience, my creativity and my ability to perceive even the smallest details. Photorealistic drawing is more than just a graphic approach to photography. My goal is to capture the presence and vividness of my subjects in my drawings as well as their intimacy and charisma.
